Impact

For over 25 years, Horizons Hampton Roads has provided an award-winning academic and enrichment program for students residing in underserved communities in Norfolk, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.

Across three program sites, our students are led by dedicated teachers and community partners through engaging learning that not only enhances their academic skills. Horizons students spend 5 weeks each summer as part of a caring community where they explore ways they can impact their world, working together to solve real world problems, developing social-emotional skills critical for self-care and healthy relationships with others. These are the tools they need to thrive in school and beyond.
