Celebration Reception – Coastal Virginia Magazine’s #1 Inspiring Nonprofit Award
Posted January 12, 2017
On January 11, 2017, Directors of the Board, Advisory Members, Program Graduates, Top Donors and Special Guests of Horizons Hampton Roads, all came together to celebrate our recent Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Giving Back #1 Inspiring Nonprofit award. Thanks to the generosity of our hosts, Alison & Thom Johnson, we came together in the spirit of community and giving back to celebrate this recent honor from Coastal Virginia Magazine. Current Directors & Development Co-Chairs, David Rogers & Gail King, shared this passion for our life transforming summer program. Horizons program graduate, Maggie, gave an inspiring testimony of her educational opportunities growing up in our Virginia Beach program since Kindergarten. Thank you to all our devoted Directors and guests in attendance. Together we are inspiring minds, building community, and transforming lives!
